FOXBORO FCP270
The FOXBORO FCP270 module is an important component of the Foxboro I/A Series Distributed control System (DCS). It is a distributed, optional fault-tolerant field-installed controller used primarily for process control and alarm functions. The FCP270 module is usually installed in the field, close to the measurement point of the process variable, allowing for fast and accurate control.
Main function
Process control: PID control, logic control, etc., to achieve accurate control of process variables.
Alarm management: Monitor process variables and issue alarms when abnormal conditions occur.
Data acquisition: Collect the data of the field instrument and send it to the host computer.
Communication: Communication with other devices (such as FBM, HMI) to achieve data exchange and control.
