AB 1794-IT8
The Allen-Bradley 1794-IT8 module is a Flex I/O module from Rockwell Automation that is designed to capture thermocouple and millivolt signals. It can convert analog signals from thermocouples or other sensors that generate millivolt levels of voltage into digital signals for PLC processing and control.
Main function
Thermocouple signal acquisition: Support for multiple types of thermocouples, such as J,
K, E, R, N, S, B, C, T and L types.
Millivolt signal acquisition: It can collect millivolt signals in the range of ±76.5mV.
Analog signal conversion: The analog signal is converted to digital signal for PLC processing.
Multi-channel input: Usually with multiple channels, it is possible to collect multiple thermocouple or millivolt signals at the same time.
