Foxboro FBM204
The Foxboro FBM204 module is an integral part of Foxboro’s I/A series of distributed control systems (DCS), now part of Emerson Automation Solutions. It is mainly used to collect and control analog signals in industrial processes, such as temperature, pressure, flow, etc. The FBM204 module offers a high degree of flexibility, reliability and precision for a wide range of industrial applications.
Main function
Analog signal acquisition: Collect 4 0-20mA analog input signals from the field sensor.
Analog signal output: four 0-20mA analog output signals are provided to control the actuator.
Signal conversion: The analog signal is converted to a digital signal for PLC processing.
Signal isolation: Electrical isolation between input and output channels improves system reliability.
