The BENTLY 125768-01 module is a rack interface I/O module developed by Bently Nevada with RS232/RS422 interfaces and is part of the Bently Nevada 3500 family. This module acts as the main interface to the 3500 rack, supporting proprietary protocols for setting up the rack and getting machine data. In addition, it is compatible with Bently Nevada’s external communications processors such as TDXnet, TDIX, and DDIX. Although RIM performs some tasks shared by the entire rack, it is not an important part of the monitoring system and has little impact on the normal operation of the overall system. One RIM is required per rack. In applications that require triple module redundancy (TMR), the TMR version of RIM1 is also required.
