A-B 1756-M16SE
The A-B 1756-M16SE module is A motion control module designed by Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) for its ControlLogix series PLC. It is mainly used to connect and control up to 16 servo-drives that support the SERCOS protocol for precise motion control. Serial Real-time Communication (SERCOS) is a high-speed, real-time, deterministic fieldbus protocol, which is widely used in the control of servo drivers.
Main function
SERCOS interface: Provides a SERCOS interface for connecting to servo-drives that support the SERCOS protocol.
Motion control: position control, speed control, torque control and other motion control functions.
Synchronous control: supports the synchronous movement of multiple axes to achieve complex motion sequences.
High-speed communication: Through the SERCOS protocol to achieve high-speed data transmission, to ensure the real-time motion control.
Product parameters and specifications (typical values, refer to the product data manual)
Number of axes: 16 axes
SERCOS rate: Support 4Mbps and 8Mbps
Control mode: position control, speed control, torque control
Communication protocol: SERCOS
