TRICONEX 8111
The TRICONEX 8111 module is an expansion rack for use in the Triconex Safety Instrumentation System (SIS). It provides additional slots for Triconex modules, allowing you to expand the functionality of your system.
The 8111 module contains two power modules and eight logical slots. Logic slots can be used to install various Triconex modules, including CPU modules, I/O modules, and communication modules.
The 8111 module has a redundant design to ensure high reliability and availability. Each power module contains two separate power circuits that are monitored by Triconex’s voting logic. If one power module fails, the other power module continues to supply power to the system.
The 8111 module complies with SIL 2 and IEC 61508 standards.
