TRICONEX 5401
The TRICONEX 5401 module is a digital output 3-in-1 module for use in the Triconex Safety Instrumentation System (SIS). It provides eight separate digital output channels that can be used to control various final control elements, such as valves, drivers and indicators.
The 5401 module has a redundant design to ensure high reliability and availability. Each channel contains two separate digital output circuits that are monitored by Triconex’s voting logic. If one channel fails, the other will continue to run without interrupting the process.
The 5401 module supports several communication protocols, including Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and Profibus DP. This makes it easy to integrate into existing control systems.
