FOXBORO FBM232
The FOXBORO FBM232 module is a high-performance Ethernet communication module designed for communication between single-port field I/O devices and EcoStruxure™ Foxboro™ DCS systems. It provides a single Ethernet interface that allows field devices to easily connect to Foxboro’s DCS. The FBM232 module supports Ethernet network transfer rates of 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps and can communicate with up to 64 field devices. In addition, the module provides a rich library of I/O software drivers from which users can download and configure drivers that suit their device needs. The FBM232 module also has field installation capability and can operate stably in G3 (harsh) environments 12.
